Rome gets ready to welcome a new edition of Vinòforum, the event that has been celebrating the best of Italian food and wine for years. Set in the green heart of the capital, in the beautiful surroundings of Piazza di Siena, wine will once again take center stage with seven evenings dedicated to top-level tastings, gourmet cuisine, and the finest Italian wine producers.
800 producers—including wineries and consortia—will be present, offering over 3,200 labels to explore in a tasting journey curated by AIS Lazio. It’s a unique opportunity to dive into the world of Italian wine, engage directly with producers, learn how to taste consciously, and enjoy high-level gastronomic experiences with Michelin-starred chefs, renowned restaurateurs, and some of Italy’s greatest pizza masters.
“Once again this year, Vinòforum will be the ideal stage to showcase the incredible diversity of our winemaking heritage,” says Emiliano De Venuti, CEO of Vinòforum. “We aim to provide a complete experience built on encounters, storytelling, and direct interaction with key players in the industry. At a time when the wine sector needs more authentic connections, Vinòforum is designed precisely to bring together producers, enthusiasts, and professionals in a space that blends culture and knowledge.”
Among the most anticipated events are the Wine Top Tastings, guided sessions led by AIS Lazio sommeliers, taking guests on a journey through Italy’s top wine regions—alongside international highlights from Burgundy and Champagne. Each evening will tell a unique wine story, enriched by deep dives into grape varieties, tasting techniques, and pairing principles.
Also making a welcome return is Casa Barolo, the space curated by La Strada del Barolo e dei grandi vini di Langa, offering a dual tasting experience every night. On one side, Barolo Essential, exploring the nuances of Nebbiolo from the classic style to the Cru expressions; on the other, the Wine Tasting Experience, starting at 9:30 PM each evening, each with a different thematic focus. During the weekend, guests can enjoy vertical tastings of Cru Barolo and blind tastings, with a bottle of Barolo awarded to those who correctly identify the wines served—a unique and exciting way to test your senses and deepen your appreciation of wine.
