Armonicu and Ruinas, My Two “Wow” Wines of the Summer

I waited a little before writing this article. Then, I thought to myself, “Well, some things just have to be said…” and I started with the title…

There are bottles you can’t wait to open. Others somehow end up in your glass almost by chance. And then there are those that, after the very first sip, make you think: I wasn’t expecting this. For a few years, a bottle of Armonicu Rosato 2020 by Depperu Family had been quietly resting in my cellar. There was no particular reason why it had stayed there. Bererosa 2026, Francesco D’Agostino: “Young people are not to blame. We are the ones who took wine off the family table.”

Wine Tourism: A Heritage Italy Has Yet to Fully Unlock

Italian wine tourism probably has the greatest potential in the world. Yet, according to Donatella Cinelli Colombini, one of the leading figures behind the development and promotion of this model in Italy, the country is still only at the beginning of a journey that requires new skills, stronger networks, and, above all, a shift in mindset.
