The journey of “With the Heart on the Plate” continues, the charity dinner that brings together the world of haute cuisine and social commitment. This year once again, the initiative confirms its ability to engage chefs, producers, restaurateurs and enthusiasts, united by a single goal: raising funds for assistance and research projects in the field of rare and degenerative diseases.
The association, led by President Laura Marciani, relies on a close-knit board and an increasingly well-structured organizational team, which also includes Davide Del Duca as Vice President. Thanks to coordinated efforts and the involvement of dozens of industry professionals, the event successfully mobilizes energy and resources in a concrete and effective way.
The organizational team has been working for months to ensure the success of the evening: from selecting the chefs to designing the shared menu, from logistics to identifying the projects that will receive financial support. Each edition represents an opportunity to shine a spotlight on often overlooked issues, providing tangible support to patients and their families.
This year, all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Nemo Clinical Center at the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital in Rome, with the aim of supporting a training program for a pulmonologist who will join the multidisciplinary team dedicated to patients suffering from neuromuscular diseases. A concrete contribution made possible by professionals who, through their culinary expertise, choose to play their part.
The growing success of the initiative demonstrates how solidarity, combined with passion for one’s craft, can become a true driver of change. “With the Heart on the Plate” thus continues its journey, with the ambition of expanding the network of solidarity that has grown around this project over the years.
