The journey of “Con il cuore nel piatto” (With Heart on the Plate) continues — a charity dinner that brings together the world of haute cuisine and social commitment. Once again this year, the initiative confirms its ability to engage chefs, producers, restaurateurs, and enthusiasts, all united by a single goal: to raise funds for assistance and research projects in the field of rare and degenerative diseases.
The association, led by president Laura Marciani, relies on a close-knit board of directors and an increasingly structured organizational team, which includes Davide Del Duca as vice president. Thanks to the coordination efforts and the participation of dozens of industry professionals, the event succeeds in mobilizing energy and resources in a concrete and effective way.
The organizing team has been working for months to ensure the success of the evening: from selecting the chefs to designing the shared menu, from logistics to defining the projects that will receive financial support. Each edition represents an opportunity to shine a spotlight on often overlooked issues, providing tangible support to patients and their families.
This year, all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Nemo Clinical Center at the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital in Rome, with the aim of funding a training program for a pulmonologist who will join the multidisciplinary team dedicated to patients with neuromuscular diseases. It’s a practical form of help that stems from the collaboration of those who, through their culinary expertise, choose to make a difference.
The growing success of the initiative shows how solidarity, combined with passion for one’s craft, can become a true engine of change. “Con il cuore nel piatto” thus continues its journey, with the ambition of further expanding the solidarity network that has formed around this project over the years.
