Ippolito 1854: between territorial identity and numerous recognitions

A successful season for Ippolito 1845, marked by numerous recognitions, starting with their eighth appearance among the wines selected for OperaWine.
But with Paolo Ippolito, it’s inevitable to speak about territory, and about how his wines embody the essence of his Calabria.

A land that, in my opinion, has a dual nature: the “energetic” character of Gaglioppo, expressed through wines like “160 anni,”Ripe del Falco,” and “Colli del Mancuso,” alongside wines that bring us back to a more summery, easy‑drinking Calabria, such as Pecorello and Pesca Nera—always preserving a deep connection with their origins.
