In Genoa, on March 3 and 4 for “I Vini del Cuore”

“Precious wines and intertwined vines, people who passionately tell their stories”… this is how my friend Olga Schiaffino likes to describe the concept of “I Vini del Cuore”.

It is an approach that I fully share.

I love taking part in tastings with Wining.it and with the friends from Vinodabere.it

as they are moments of sharing and growth. I am also very passionate about studying the more “technical” side of wine while attending my university course in Oenology in Florence, but in the end I completely agree with the idea of thinking about wine as an emotion, as a gesture – that of bringing the glass to the nose and mouth – which we often associate with a moment in our lives. I also like to approach wine without prejudice, whether it is “conventional” or “natural”.

And then there are the stories, too often placed in the background compared to technical aspects… also because, in my opinion, a wine should be considered a product that comes from the land but is managed by man. A man who always has stories to tell. Those stories that often contribute to the growth of emotions and help define that wine as “a wine of the heart”.

I Vini del Cuore is a social guide, but also an event that this year will take place on March 3 and 4 at the Diocesan Museum of Genoa. It is an event somewhat different from the usual ones because it is participatory and engaging: the people attending will receive a postcard through which they can express their opinion and choose their own wine of the heart.

To participate, an Ampelos membership card is required, which costs 20 euros (15 for members of other Wine Associations, free for industry professionals and journalists) and can be purchased on the website https://ivdc.ivinidelcuore.it

See you on March 3 and 4 in Genoa!
