Italy of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon

There is an Italy of wine that speaks with an international accent, yet thinks, cultivates and interprets in a deeply territorial way. It is the Italy of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon, two grape varieties that over the years have found in the Peninsula a plurality of expressions capable of telling the story of very different climates, soils and winemaking sensibilities.

This dialogue between grape variety and territory is at the heart of Italy of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon, the event organized by Vinodabere.it, scheduled to take place in Rome on Saturday, February 7 and Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Hotel Belstay, Via Bogliasco 27.

The event stems from the in-depth work that Vinodabere has long been carrying out through guides and features dedicated to Italian wine regions and individual grape varieties. An editorial journey that has already explored areas such as Sardinia, Valtellina, Alto Piemonte and Basilicata, and that has paid particular attention to Pinot Noir and Sauvignon, the protagonists of monographic publications and regular updates.

Italy of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon thus becomes an opportunity to travel across the country, glass in hand, observing how these two varieties change voice and character as they move from one area to another, offering a dynamic and contemporary snapshot of Italian wine.
