“A simple gesture can make a difference”… Returning this year on June 26 is “Con il Cuore nel Piatto”, the event that brings together chefs, producers, and food lovers in the name of solidarity. An initiative that, edition after edition, continues to grow in participation and impact, reminding us how great cuisine can be a powerful tool for doing good.
One of the protagonists of this edition is Carol Agostini, owner of Food&Wine Angels and a long-time advocate for Italian food and wine culture. “For me, being part of this event is not only an honor but also a moral responsibility,” says Carol. “Cooking and offering hospitality are universal acts of love: through a dish and a smile, we can make someone going through a difficult time feel welcomed.”
“Con il Cuore nel Piatto” reaffirms its mission: bringing the food world together for a special evening where all proceeds will support tangible projects that promote health and well-being for those in need. This year, the funds raised will go to support the NeMO Center at Rome’s Policlinico Gemelli, which is dedicated to the care of neuromuscular diseases.
Led by talented chefs and supported by numerous businesses and professionals, the evening will once again be a celebration of sharing. “Food is connection,” adds Carol Agostini. “It’s how we tell stories and build relationships. And when all of this happens for an important cause, every gesture takes on even greater meaning.”
