Con il Cuore nel Piatto: an emotional evening, hard to put into words…

It’s always very difficult to capture an event like “Con il Cuore nel Piatto” in words or on video. Every time, I tell myself I’ll do it—I plan rationally how to collect footage and images—but in the end, I get swept up by the evening, by the emotions, the food, and that something that makes this event truly unique.

I’ve been saying it for a while: some things have to be experienced, not told—and Con il Cuore nel Piatto is one of them. I try, but I already know it won’t be enough. So I’m thinking… maybe this is a non-article.

If you want to get a sense of what we’re talking about, try reading it in the faces of the interviewed chefs. You’ll see effort, joy, and a deep sense of solidarity.

I’ll close with a big round of applause for Laura Marciani. She’s done an amazing job involving so many chefs and producers. She’s shown great determination in pursuing a truly meaningful charitable goal. And she’s also proven her skill in organizing—because setting up dozens of cooking stations is no easy task, but with her, it seems like just another day at the office.

In the video below, you’ll find the first part, with interviews featuring Davide Del Duca, Koji Kobayashi, Francesco Apreda, and Roy Caceres.
Here’s the follow-up, with more interviews…
