Con il Cuore nel Piatto: charity, quality, and pure energy.

When I met Laura Marciani, she told me, “You’ll see, it’s a beautiful event.” She was wrong.
One adjective isn’t enough to describe Con il Cuore nel Piatto.

It’s beautiful, fulfilling, and deeply shared.
It’s many other emotions that are hard to put into words — but that leave a mark.

It’s not every day you see dozens of chefs, including Michelin‑starred ones, working with sweat on their brows and smiles on their faces, always willing to do anything: explain, joke around with the colleague beside them, let loose for one evening, and enjoy this moment of great intensity — without leaving anything to chance.

We’re in Magliano Sabina, at Ristorante degli Angeli. While Laura’s “home,” with its spaces and wonderful panoramic view, naturally lends itself to this kind of event, what surprised me the most was the organization.
More than 300 people, and dozens of tasting stations where the food — rigorously cooked on the spot — managed to reach a truly remarkable level. And despite the crowd, not once did we have to wait in line.

Is it possible that I can’t find a single “but” in describing this event?
No — I really can’t. The Heart was truly in the air, in every dish, and in every person there, with no exception.

Dear Laura, it must have been exhausting, but it was a pleasure to see you in action and witness the result of your hard work.
Work that certainly rewards you and the associations that will benefit from your initiatives.
Work that lasts a year — but leaves a trace for a lifetime.

Con il Cuore nel Piatto is not a charity event; it’s something much more, something you can only truly understand by attending. And yes — I know this article is only missing a violin soundtrack, but honestly, it would fit perfectly 😊.

My instinct tells me we’ll have to do something together.
Too much energy to ignore.
Too much passion not to share and support.

Thank you, Laura.
