Over 500 labels from across the Peninsula, featuring great terroirs, native grape varieties and Campanian excellence. Naples is preparing to welcome the best of Italian winemaking with Anteprima VitignoItalia 2026, the event that anticipates the major exhibition scheduled from May 17 to 19, 2026 at the Stazione Marittima.
On Monday, November 24, in the elegant spaces of the Hotel Excelsior (Via Partenope 48, Lungomare Caracciolo), more than 100 wineries and over 500 labels will take center stage in a day dedicated to tastings, professional exchange and the discovery of wine territories.
Now approaching its twentieth anniversary, the event confirms its two time-slot format: from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm entry will be reserved for trade professionals, while from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm the event will open to wine enthusiasts.
“We are ready to inaugurate a new edition of Anteprima VitignoItalia,” says Maurizio Teti, Director of VitignoItalia.
“Every year we bring together leading producers and emerging excellence, with the aim of enhancing the richness and diversity of Italy’s wine heritage. This commitment is made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Department of Agriculture of the Campania Region, which has always supported our event, and with ICE, which is fundamental to our international reach. The two time slots are now an integral part of the format, allowing us both to engage with enthusiasts and to create targeted networking opportunities with buyers and industry professionals.”
An event that unites territories, stories and visions
Anteprima VitignoItalia confirms its role as a privileged platform to closely explore the identities of Italian wine: from major appellations to lesser-known native varieties, from Campanian excellence to emerging producers. A day that offers the opportunity to hear directly from those who create wine, safeguard its history and project it into the future.
Emphasizing the event’s international profile, journalists from France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Germany will attend, thanks to the support of ICE. Following the opening day, guests will take part in an educational tour in the Campi Flegrei area, discovering one of the most representative territories of Campanian winemaking.
The twentieth anniversary: a journey through the history of Campanian wine
A special moment will be reserved for trade professionals and the press with the Twentieth Anniversary Tasting: a selection of Campanian labels from the 2005 vintage, designed to celebrate the twenty years of the event and retrace the evolution of regional wine through its most authoritative protagonists and Campania’s iconic terroirs.
