Some of you may remember the first version of Wining.it.
It was initially a shared project, but it soon became clear that the idea of “sharing” behind it was not quite aligned with my own vision of sharing—one made of passion, enjoyment, people, and all the emotions that wine, its territories, and the people behind it are able to convey.
Today, a new Wining.it begins.
Standing still has never been our style. Unfortunately—or perhaps fortunately—we are driven by an unstoppable desire for change, renewal, and evolution. Bordolese.it has also been swept up in this wave of transformation that seems to define our character. From today onward, all the efforts—better yet, the passions—that shaped Bordolese.it will converge into Wining.it.
But Wining.it also adds new energy: the passion of Fabiana Romano, with her extensive expertise in marketing, communication, and publishing, and the young component represented by Federico Gabriele, now part of the tasting panels of Vinodabere.it, WSET Level 2 certified, soon to complete WSET Level 3, and currently in his second year of Enology studies in Florence.
A new team, the same passion, and new goals—but with clear principles.
Our intention is to respect the world of wine and food-and-wine journalism.
This is a world made up of professionals who have been working in this field for a very long time, and it is certainly not our intention to replace them or interfere with their work in any way. We simply want to be complementary.
We firmly believe that wine is a vast ecosystem, and within it there are equally vast spaces and many paths that are still unexplored. The marketing component of the new Wining.it aims to be helpful rather than an obstacle to those who have already been working in this world for years.
We know how to do other things, and therefore we want to do other things—always with the utmost fairness, humility, and enthusiasm.
For us, every meeting is a discovery, and every meeting is an opportunity to build a network.
Stories, territory, culture, art, young people.
These will be the keywords guiding our initiatives, the values for which we will strive to be appreciated.
Maurizio Gabriele
