Third stop of the national tour to discover all the expressions of the denomination that symbolizes Piedmontese elegance
Piedmontese wine excellence took center stage in Bologna, where the Consorzio Tutela Roero made a stop in the Emilian capital to continue sharing the story of this denomination throughout Italy. After Rome and Naples, Roero in Tour could not miss one of the most important cities in the Italian food and wine scene, bringing along its dynamic and convivial format. Hosted this time by Michelin-starred chef Agostino Iacobucci’s restaurant, the event gathered industry professionals, journalists, and restaurateurs to explore one of the most distinctive terroirs in Italian wine.
Behind every glass lies the strength of a community: 280 members and over 1,300 hectares of vineyards form a mosaic of territories that together shape a diverse landscape, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its richness and biodiversity. It is in this viticultural haven that the five expressions of Roero are born: Nebbiolo in the reds and long-aged reserves, the quintessential Arneis in the whites, fresh in its sparkling versions, and surprisingly complex in the reserves. Multiple complementary facets of a denomination that keeps evolving while staying true to its identity and deep connection with the land.

The Bologna stop confirmed the success of a project that goes beyond mere wine promotion: it builds a collective narrative that will soon continue toward Milan, where—before the end of the year—the tour will conclude with another moment of dialogue and discovery.
