Vinòforum 2025: Rome celebrates the excellence of wine and Italian cuisine at Piazza di Siena

From September 8 to 14, 2025, in the unique setting of Piazza di Siena at Villa Borghese, Vinòforum returns – the major event that for over twenty years has brought the best of Italian food and wine to Rome. The 22nd edition promises to be the richest ever: 3,200 labels for tasting, representing 800 wineries from across Italy, and more than 60 chefs and master pizzaioli ready to present exclusive menus during seven Roman evenings dedicated to taste and wine culture.

Vinòforum 2025 confirms its role as a privileged showcase for the country’s finest products. At the tasting counters, labels from all Italian regions will be featured, while the dinners and temporary restaurants will give voice to chefs and pizzaioli who blend tradition, research, and creativity. There will also be educational moments, introductory journeys into wine and extra virgin olive oil, business-oriented spaces, and meetings on the digital world: an opportunity not only to taste but also to network and grow professionally.

“Vinòforum 2025 renews the concept of Rome as the Capital of Wine and Food. For seven days Piazza di Siena will be the stage for the absolute promotion of Italian excellence, with some international incursions. We are pleased to have institutions, consortia, and promotion bodies from all over Italy at our side, and we are proud of the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forestry,” said Emiliano De Venuti, CEO of Vinòforum.

Every evening Vinòforum will spotlight some of the most interesting names in Roman and national dining. From the authentic tradition of the Castelli Romani to international influences, the menus will offer a journey combining territory, innovation, and conviviality. Among the protagonists: Flavio Pulicati (N’Antro Bistrot), Giuseppe Milana (Giù Upside Down), Enrico Braghese (Zi’ Rico), Jacopo Caira (Felice a Testaccio), Alessandra Verdile (Osteria della Vittoria), and many others, for a program that celebrates the variety and identity of Italian cuisine.

There is also great anticipation for the Pizza d’Autore dinners, hosted by Molino Casillo, which this year will be enriched with a section dedicated to bakery. From Neapolitan master Ciro Salvo (50 Kalò) to Pier Daniele Seu (Seu Pizza Illuminati), along with some of the most innovative bakers, they will create special four-handed menus paired with Leffe abbey beers.

For the first time, Vinòforum will dedicate an entire program to Spanish wines, in collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Board. Guided tastings and presentations will provide an overview of Spain’s 96 designations of origin and some of its most renowned wine regions, from Rioja to Aragón.

All tastings will be accompanied by Paşabahçe, the global leader in glassware. Its “Allegra” glass will host more than 3,200 labels, combining elegance, functionality, and superior quality to make the experience even more memorable.

Vinòforum was born in 2004 as the first wine event organized in the city of Rome. For twenty years it has hosted the leading Italian wineries, increasingly pairing them with fine dining. Since 2018, it has confirmed itself, in terms of numbers and participating companies, as the largest food and wine event in Central and Southern Italy.
