An event on a Saturday, a cold Saturday that says “stay home and catch your breath”… and then in Magliano Sabina, in a school…
To shake off that feeling of laziness (which, by the way, doesn’t usually belong to me) that was creeping in on “that Saturday,” all it took was the invitation from Carol Agostini and Laura Marciani.
What could “these two” possibly come up with in a school? I’ll try to explain using a simple word, but I believe a very effective one: “synergy.”
A territory, the institutions, a hospitality institute, the companies of that area, and the chefs, in this case, Gabriele Amicucci, Leonardo Morelli, and Laura Marciani herself.
“OPEN SCHOOL: A DIVE INTO ORIGINS” 2025, an event organized by the Omnicomprehensive Institute Sandro Pertini in Magliano Sabina, aimed at getting all these entities to work together, with a professional approach and an organization so well planned that between a press conference, a tasting, the discovery of some local companies, and a delightful final dinner, we almost let an entire day slip by without even noticing.
An unusual synergy, starting from the enthusiasm of the institutions to the great participation of the entrepreneurial realities of the area. Well done to everyone, but especially to Carol for coming up with such an event, and to Laura, always ready to get involved.
Describing what happened during this day is complicated. To truly understand it, it’s necessary to participate, both in this event and in all the events—often with solidarity purposes—organized by Carol and Laura. You need to participate to understand the philosophy, the goals, and, why not, the flavors.
See you next time (we’ll be there)!
