In recent days Vinodabere.it published the Guide to the Best Wines of Sardinia 2024, now in its 6th edition.
A guide “for everyone”, from the final consumer to industry professionals, easy to read and above all digital and free.
This guide allows readers to explore Sardinia discovering its many grape varieties and, above all, the wineries that have developed in this distinctive territory, which benefits from a combination of mild climate, great diversity of soils, sun exposure and salty sea air that creates a unique heritage where every area produces extraordinary wines.
Of the more than 700 samples received by the editorial team, 326 are included in this guide, which features only labels scoring 90 points or higher. Among them, 122 are considered excellent, scoring between 98 and 100 points — or what Vinodabere.it defines as “standing ovation”.
The guide is accessible and clear even for non-professionals. The wines are divided by type and, for each label, the guide indicates the name of the wine, the score in points and the retail price in wine shops. It also includes an image of the bottle, a brief description of the wine, the name of the winery and its contacts, and finally a short history of the company.
After reading just the first few labels, curiosity quickly arises: the desire to taste these wines, to visit the wineries of Sardinia and, even more, to discover this mysterious and unique island that is Sardinia.
