There is no longer any doubt that I have a certain feeling for Sicily. Etna, however, adds something extra to the charm of this region, always capable of offering surprises and quality.
Contrade dell’Etna is an event created in 2008 from an idea by Andrea Franchetti, with the aim of promoting the wines produced in this territory—unique, and capable of giving both the land and its wines a strong identity.
We are at the Picciolo Golf Resort. The first day featured four high‑level masterclasses that highlighted the characteristics of this territory as well as the ability of Etna’s wines to evolve. Two intense days, with the presence of international journalists and an exhibition area open to visitors.
We meet Sergio Cimmino, organizer of the new 2024 edition of Contrade dell’Etna.
