Finally Sardinia!

For those not in the field, when speaking about Sardinia people speak exclusively about Cannonau and Vermentino, and I must say that even among some of the insiders certain denominations are not entirely known. I do not think I am wrong when I say that an event like the one organized by Vinodabere.it was a unique opportunity to make new discoveries and to come into contact with producers and wines that deserve to be better known both by industry professionals and by the world of wine lovers. The Sardinia not to miss

For some years now we have been participating in the creation of the Guide to the best wines of Sardinia by Vinodabere.it, and every year we have the opportunity to discover new (at least for us) realities and to touch firsthand the growth in the quality of the wines that this region is able to offer. Often when I pronounce the word “Cannonau” friends think of a heavy wine, that wine reserved for strong palates and courageous people. Nothing could be more wrong. Komjanc’s Collio

Komjanc is a winery whose wine production in Collio dates back to the late 1800s and was among the first producers in San Floriano del Collio to offer bottled wine produced by a family-run estate. The first Alessio Komjanc label dates back to 1973. Today the winery, passed from father Alessio to his sons Beniamin, Roberto, Patrik and Ivan, owns vineyards covering 24 hectares. (more…)
