Sace Sistemi Srl and the Protection of Personal Data

At Sace Sistemi Srl, customer satisfaction and the security of our customers’ personal data are of paramount importance.

When customers decide to outsource to us all or part of the data processed in the course of their business activities, they are choosing to entrust us with highly confidential information.

We are aware of the potential concerns that such outsourcing may create for a customer’s organisation, particularly in terms of regulatory compliance. For this reason, we provide comprehensive information on issues relating to the protection of personal data.

Personal Data Protection Regulations

Various international, European and national regulations and legal instruments govern the protection of personal data.

The main ones include:

  • Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealed on 25 May 2018 by Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
  • Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (2012/C 326/02).
  • Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.

Sace Sistemi Srl undertakes to comply with the obligations established by the above-mentioned regulations and, in particular, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

It is through this commitment that our customers are able to fulfil certain regulatory obligations of their own, and we always encourage them to pay particular attention to data protection compliance.

Other, more specific regulations may also apply, particularly to certain categories of personal data.

It is, of course, the customer’s responsibility to clearly identify the regulations applicable to their activities and to ensure compliance with them.

Carefully selecting a service provider, particularly when it comes to Cloud services, is therefore essential in order to comply with personal data protection obligations
